Your Sign + Your Matching Element Chime = Your Sound

The twelve signs of the Zodiac are divided among the four natural elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water:

• Aries, Leo and Sagittarius belong to Fire
• Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn belong to Earth
• Gemini, Libra and Aquarius belong to Air
• Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces belong to Water

These 4 natural elements are what inspired the Wind River Chimes Elements Collection, where each element was given a unique tuning, crafted to reflect the spirit of that element:

• The Earth Element chime sounds deep and grounded.
• The Air Element chime sounds spacious and uplifting.
• The Fire Element chime reaches upward with warmth and energy.
• The Water Element chime sings a with calm, rippling quality.

What is the Meaning of Zodiac Signs and Natural Elements?

The word “Zodiac” comes from an ancient Greek term meaning roughly “circle of animals.” The “circle” is made up of the 12 constellations associated with the 12 Zodiac signs, which are situated roughly in a circle in the sky.

Over time, the field of astrology developed around the idea that the positions of those constellations at the time of a person's birth could be used to interpret personality and life experiences, thus the assigning of a particular Zodiac symbol to each birthday!

Ancient astrologers eventually connected the 12 zodiac signs with four natural elements -- Earth, Air, Fire and Water -- giving each element three signs.

Today, Zodiac signs remain a popular part of astrology and popular culture, with each of the 12 signs associated with particular dates, characteristics, and one of four natural elements.

And what began thousands of years ago in the stars has now become a unique, personal sound you can hear, whenever the breeze begins to move.

The Zodiac Elements wind chimes also create a very meaningful, individual way to gift a wind chime to someone you love. Instead of wondering which sound they might like, start with their birthday, which will tell you their Zodiac sign and the element it belongs to.

From there, you can have their Zodiac sign engraved on their matching Elements wind chime, and you will have given a very personal, unforgettable gift to a special person.

Which Zodiac Elements Wind Chime is Right for You?

One of the pleasures of choosing a Wind River chime is listening until you find the sound that speaks to you. Your Zodiac element can be a meaningful place to begin, but you may discover that another one of the Elements Chimes is the one you want to hear outside your window every day.

The four Elements Chimes were individually tuned to have their own personalities, but they were also musically designed to complement one another. Earth, Air, Fire and Water can be enjoyed individually, paired together or heard as a complete quartet.

Perhaps your element is Water but your partner’s is Earth. Perhaps the people in your family represent all four elements. Or perhaps one sound simply makes you stop and listen.

There are many ways to find your harmony, and it’s a lot of fun to listen your way through all the sounds on the website to find your favorite
