Their Founders, Jim and May Davidson, began by recording the welcoming sounds of the bell and gong buoys where they hauled their lobster traps.  Each North Country Wind Bell® is based on Jim's and his family's interpretation of the gong and bell buoys in the areas for which they're named.   Here at Wind River, we value what North Country Wind Bells® stands for and represents. They are a family-run business that makes their product in the USA and uses American-made steel.
