Our most popular chimes are called Corinthian Bells. While they are beautifully constructed and classically tuned, their name has no connection to the classic “Corinthian” columns found in Greek architecture.
So, to explain why we chose the name Corinthian Bells, we have to start with who we are as a company…
For over thirty-five years, we have been manufacturing wind chimes, always focusing on harmony: to handcraft the most beautiful sounding wind chimes in the most beautiful way. We want our chimes to resonate in every way, making an impact beyond our outside spaces.

But, before this…
It all started with a wind chime maker named Mike, who developed the craftsmanship of our premium wind chimes and the idea that their harmony could go beyond their beautiful sound. From the beginning, he rooted these musical instruments in a mission of charity, adding more layers to their harmony.
When Jamie and Patty Baisden (Wind River’s current owners) joined Mike at what was then QMT Windchimes, they shared Mike’s vision to inspire harmony in the world. The three of them knew they needed a very special name for these wind chimes that sang with an incomparable, signature sound.
Since they felt like this sound was the heart and soul of the brand, they decided to give them a name with the heart and soul of the company–naming these wind chimes after the Biblical passage, 1 Corinthians 13.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
For many years, an insert card with the inspiring words of “faith, hope, and love” accompanied every set of Corinthian Bells chimes that went out into the world. Now those words are engraved on the windsail of a very special edition of Corinthian Bells Harmonies chimes, with space on the back for you to add your own message of harmony.
